Internet-of-Things (IoT)-based agriculture monitoring systems
Internet-of-Things (IoT) is a trending technology, especially in the Covid-19 pandemic. As the study of business analytics grows up in the last decades, the role of IoT becomes important. Our lab started the IoT project in 2020 with the first pilot project entitled “Monitoring System for Agriculture Forecasting Based on Internet of Things”. This work was submitted to the Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) / Student Creativity Program 2021 organized by Departemen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia.
The initial work for the project was started in 2020 by two students: Cristover Adi Santoso and Gregorius Ferrari. As a part of the Professional Learning course in the Department of Industrial Engineering UAJY, they explore the implementation of IoT systems, including electrical circuitry, data communication to cloud networks, and data processing in separated computers.
